Enter Shikari Vinyl

Enter Shikari is easily my favorite band of all time, so when we were asked to create some album artwork for our print design class it seemed like a no brainer to choose them. I was very familiar with the band’s music, history, and ideologies, so it made it easy for me to create some fitting album artwork for them.

The Challenge

I was looking for a project that I could use a lot of texture and colors with as I didn’t have much experience with either of those. It seemed like a no brainer to pick enter shikari’s upcoming album, “A Flash Flood of Colour”, to use some of these techniques with. For the textures on the artwork, I used everything from the peeling paint on the outside of my house, to some old camera film layered on top of each other to create the effect I was looking for.
