Boston Jewish Music Festival is an annual music festival to celebrate and feature jewish musicians in Boston. They needed a website to house all of the information about the festival, and provide a detailed schedule of events. I was a subcontracted developer for this site which I built on top of WordPress from PSD. The project was completed on a tight deadline of just 4 weeks from start to completion. The site also required responsive development which was completed by myself with the help of the foundation framework.
The event organizers were going to be in charge of keeping the website up to date, and would be posting blog posts, events, and other information on a regular basis, so I needed to make the website as easy as possible to update. For this reason, WordPress was an obvious choice for a CMS because of its easy to use admin panel. I also built in other various features like customizable widgets, and shortcodes to make updating the site even easier. You can check out the work I did on my github.
